Hi Kyger -

I would say, Huffington Post is a top news site, but they have so many bloggers on there, no one knows who's writing what - meaning the normal public.

But people do know who Arianna Huffington is. She's the A-list blogger there.

Fowler, on the other hand isn't a household name.

Point is.... Fowler got the information she did because she isn't a "arriana huffington" .. she's not A-list. And that's what people should be aware of ... anyone can get information, anyone can post information and anyone can read it and decide to make it go viral.

The A-List blogger might not have gotten this information, because they are A-List and people realize that and tend to close up around them. Fowler had that to her advantage.

Thanks for commenting!

You make an interesting point here but although Fowler isn't an A-List blogger, The Huffington Post is considered an A-List blog thereby making your point contradictory. I don't read Huffington, am not familiar with the post about Obama and Clinton, and could care less actually. However it's the A-List bloggers/blogs that bring stories like Fowler's into existence.
